Song Project’s This Land Is Your Land compilation, part 2

A compilation of recordings (in two parts) of Woodie Guthrie’s This Land Is Your Land I made during the years 2017 and 2018 as a part of my Song Project where I recorded songs, interviews, and conversations with my friends in the USA. (Woody Guthrie’s original version is included as the last song of the second compilation.) The inspiration for this project came as a very valuable chapter of my life in the USA, especially during the years 2015 to 2018, was coming to an end.  The years from 2015-2018 now feel like a dream to write about, but all that I experienced then has settled deep in my bones. Perhaps one day, I will be able to write about them, especially as I now focus on the path this deep energy is now trying to guide me on. In the last few months, I began to realize that I needed to carry the voices of my friends with me. The effect of being able to have the voices of my friends with me, I had already experienced because of Jason’s Travels of Flat Stanley, which I listened to even as I was in the USA. Additionally, this video and Jason’s presence in my life inspired me to channel an instinct I had to record voices in a way that are powerful for me.
